Rum Russians
“rummy” tasting bonbons rolled in chocolate vermicelli.
History: The name bonbon (or bon-bon) refers to any of several types of sweets enrobed in chocolate. The first reports of bonbons come from the 17th century, when they were made at the French royal court. Their name arose from reduplication of the word bon, meaning \’good\’. This sweet inspired Johann Strauss II to compose a waltz named, \”Wiener Bonbons\”. We at Russian Cookie House make them in several variations and keep adding since the options are as manifold as there are flavors.
