Pistachio Oblaten Cookies
made with pure ground pistachio nuts and baked on wafers, these cookies are sandwiched together with a honey spread flavored with cinnamon.
History: This simply outstanding high value added cookie is actually a traditional German “Nuss Busserl”. We were however, not brave enough to call it by its rightful name due to pronunciation concerns within the general public  . It is a German version of macaron baked on “oblaten” wafers and must be tried to be appreciated. To use the thin wafer base known as “oblaten” was based on the idea of monks who wanted to prevent the cookies from sticking to the baking sheet . We consider it one of our best products!
Ingredients: Ground Pistachios, Sugar, Egg Whites, Wafers, Honey, Confectioner’s Sugar, Cinnamon
